The Dolphin Shore Shifters series!

Welcome to a mysterious undersea world…

Beneath the white-capped waves of the Santa Barbara Channel, off the California coast, swims a huge pod of extraordinary sea mammals. Bottlenose Dolphins are world-renown for their smiling faces, acrobatic aquatic play, and fearless human rescues. Yet these highly intelligent, often helpful creatures have counted decades of needless suffering and death worldwide at the hands of humans-- greedy fishing, waste dumping, oil drilling, and the list goes on.

Obviously, the humans who do care, those striving to stop blue water pollution and sea mammal carnage, could use some serious help. Underwater, the dolphins of the Santa Barbara Shore Shifter pod are especially resourceful, accustomed to focused team effort, and deadly in the defense of their own. Plus, they share a carefully guarded secret, another ability that makes them truly unique. And sometimes lethal…

Dolphins capable of shifting to human form.

The Shore Shifter dolphins take turns shape-shifting to humans and volunteering for three-year missions, based at their world-respected not-for-profit-corporation, Save Blue Water or SBW. Their mission goals of education and awareness-raising often expand to lobbying, and even coercing for global oceanic conservation. Extreme cases are assigned to the Shore Shifter’s elite field ops team, covert operatives who don’t hesitate to bring their special brand of fear and intimidation to the headquarters of any enemy of dolphins, no matter how powerful.
